Financing
Our expertise in financial assistance gives our clients the ability to confidently navigate through complex financial challenges with complete confidence and stability.
Legal protection
In certain types of disputes, you may be entitled to legal expenses cover. This is a cover that is usually included in most home and contents or business insurance policies. If you are eligible for legal expenses cover, you may be reimbursed for part of your legal costs. These reimbursements consist mainly of your own legal costs, but also of the costs of the other party that may be awarded in court. The detailed terms and conditions of legal expenses cover are set out in the specific terms and conditions of your policy.
It is important to know that legal expenses insurance can only be applied for once an actual dispute has arisen. Legal expenses insurance is usually linked to different limitation rules. We therefore recommend that you contact us as soon as possible and we will assist you in making an application for legal expenses cover.
If you do not have home insurance or if your insurance company does not grant you legal protection in your case, you may be eligible for legal aid.
Legal aid
If you do not have home insurance with legal protection, you may instead be entitled to legal aid. Legal aid is a state benefit that can be paid in certain cases in the event of a dispute. The purpose of legal aid is to help people who do not have the financial means to obtain legal assistance by means other than legal protection or private funding. However, there are conditions that must be met before you are granted legal aid. For example, your income and other financial circumstances must not exceed a certain amount.
Unlike legal protection, legal aid only covers your own legal costs and not those of the other party. Legal advice is an introduction to legal aid and a prerequisite for applying for and being granted legal aid. The application for legal aid is examined by the Legal Aid Authority or the court. We can help you apply for legal aid.
Private funding
If you are not entitled to legal protection or legal aid, it is possible to pursue a case through private funding. At the first consultation, we always make an estimate of what a process may cost.
We apply a reasonable fee taking into account the nature and scope of the assignment, the degree of difficulty and the time spent on the case, the result of the work and similar circumstances.
